Heinrichs Trust to make repairs at Samaritan Center
Cold cash to fix broken freezer
Saturday, August 27, 2011
The Samaritan Center no longer has to worry about freezer failure costing them thousands of dollars in repairs or food items as it did in 2002 when the center’s cooler quit working.
On Friday, Marylyn Defeo, volunteer executive director of the Samaritan Center, accepted a check for $25,000 from the Mary B. Heinrichs Trust. The check will help pay for new electrical wiring and air compressors for the freezer, which is frequently in need of repair.
