Property owners are already free to build condos. Don't waste my tax dollars on that pipe dream.

Let private business developers and investors build the condos. Why should City Hall subsidize a few good ol boy popular family builders to build what is apparently economically unfeasible or what has no demand?

Don you get that government has limited resources, and what little it has should be used for baxic neccessities and to remove barriers to free enterprise and commerce? The government should not be in the businsess of building houses or picking which local builders can suckle off the public teat for some pie in the sky prioject that some downtown social club wants to see happen, even though it is a pipe dream.
