Lady Crusaders set to open tennis season

When you’re looking to build a tennis team, it helps to do it with players with some experience at the game’s higher levels.

The Helias Lady Crusaders return just three players from last year’s squad that went 10-4 and lost in the district final to Kirksville. But two, seniors Abby Gober and Danica Shimkus, qualified as a doubles team for the Class 1 state tournament.
