City considers new bus route

A new bus route may be added to the Jefferson City Transit Division.

As part of Mayor Eric Struemph’s proposed budget for 2012, the transit division is set to receive $80,000 for an additional route to serve the west end of the city.

Heaven forbid the city do anything to help the East side of Jefferson City!

How about enforcing codes and cleaning up the trashy East McCarty Street? All those nasty businesses A1 etc. are a blight. Bet they wouldn't be tolerated on the West side of town!
