Saltwater pets, anyone?

Though still hundreds of miles from any ocean, tropical fish and corals are the focus of a new pet store, Sharkey’s, located on Industrial Drive in Jefferson City.

Since purchasing the former Carousel Pets, owner Chris Wojtasik and her husband have decided to place the emphasis of their full-line pet store on saltwater animals. They both enjoy the vibrant hues of the fish in their saltwater tank at home and believe people in Jefferson City will appreciate the colorful element, as well.
