SHENZHEN, China - Marcus Denmon finished with seven points Sunday as the U.S. defeated Romania 94-73 in a loser's bracket contest at the World University Games.
Denmon, who will enter his senior season at the University of Missouri, also totaled three steals and three rebounds as the U.S. advanced to the fifth-place game at the tournament.
The U.S. closes the event against Germany today. Serbia will play Canada for the title.
