Neighborhood improvement projects tabled

A decision on whether to recommend a neighborhood improvement project was held off Thursday to give another neighborhood time to get their petition in as well.
A petition from the Vineyard Square neighborhood was presented to the public works and planning committee for a $65,000 neighborhood improvement project, which would include curbs, gutters and sidewalks on one side of the area.
Matt Morasch, public works director, said the Vineyard Square petition was the only other neighborhood improvement project, aside from the Elmerine project, to have a finished petition submitted to the city.
But before the committee could consider the matter, a representative of residents on Broadway Street said ....

I've walked that section of broadway. when was the last time they had sidewalks 1905?
