MRRL board raises tax levy

The tax levy for the Missouri River Regional Library was raised Tuesday night by the City of Jefferson/Cole County Library Board.

The MRRL levy was set at 0.1977 per $100 assessed evaluation, up from 0.1956 in 2010.

Helen Rigdon, director of MRRL said the levy still sits below the 1964, voter-approved levy of 0.20.
