MU’s Fisher injures knee, out for the year

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri senior offensive tackle Elvis Fisher will miss the season after injuring his left knee at practice Monday.
Fisher collapsed, screaming in pain and clutching at his left knee before he was helped off the field by two trainers. Fisher, who suffered a ruptured patellar tendon, will undergo surgery today.
