With Moore in backfield, Jays figure to be quicker this season

On the surface, the Jefferson City football team appears to have a big hole to fill this season after running back Kody Walker took his talents to the University of Arkansas.

After all, Walker is the second-leading rusher in Jefferson City history.

And while head coach Ted LePage said the Jays will clearly miss Walker’s talent and production, there are plenty of backs ready to step into the mix.
