Man gets 10 years for sex assault

A Jefferson City man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for pleading guilty to one count of first-degree statutory rape and one count of first-degree statutory sodomy in connection with the sexual assault of a juvenile in June 2010.

According to a Cole County Sheriff’s Department probable cause statement, Dustin Kelly, 28, is believed to have had sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 14.
