Former officer guilty in parking garage bomb case

ST. LOUIS (AP) - A 26-year-old former St. Louis-area police officer has pleaded guilty to federal charges for concealing knowledge of Milton "Skip" Ohlsen's alleged involvement in a car bombing.

Aaron Reid pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court in St. Louis. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/pDKPBd ) reported that Reid worked as a police officer in Wellston, Velda City, Vinita Park and Beverly Hills, all in St. Louis County.

Ohlsen is a former Missouri political operative charged last month with five weapons-related counts for the Oct. 15, 2008, bombing at a parking garage in Clayton. The bomb was allegedly intended for his wife's divorce lawyer but mistakenly injured another attorney when it was left at the wrong car.
