ST. JOSEPH (AP) - St. Joseph police say a 3-year-old boy drowned while sitting in a hot tub at a northwest Missouri water park.
The boy was identified Tuesday as Parker James Wilson of Rosendale.
Police spokesman Jim Connors says the boy was at the Ramada Inn's Monkey Cove Water Park in St. Joseph Monday with his grandfather and three other children. Police say he was in the hot tub with another child when he went underwater.
First responders tried to administer CPR but the boy was pronounced dead at a St. Joseph hospital.
