LU picked 10th in MIAA football polls

If the preseason polls are any indication, the Lincoln Blue Tigers will find the road tough in their first football season back in the MIAA.

The Blue Tigers were voted to finish 10th in both the coaches and the media polls released Monday at the conference’s Football Media Day in Kansas City.

Lincoln received nine points in the coaches poll, meaning the other nine coaches ranked the Blue Tigers last in the 10-team conference. In the media poll, consisting of 35 voters, Lincoln finished with 36 points.
