Saturday's MLS Capsules

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) - Mariano Trujillo scored off a rebound in the 85th minute to seal Chivas USA's first victory of the season, a 2-1 decision over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday.

Trujillo slammed home a loose ball after Jon Busch made a right-handed save on Justin Braun's shot.

The victory ended Chivas' drought that stretched eight matches, including three last season. Chivas (1-2-3), the last MLS team to win this season, is unbeaten in its last four matches.

Chris Wondolowski scored for San Jose (1-3-2) in the 16th minute, and Alejandro Moreno tied it in first-half injury time, scoring on a header off Heath Pearce's free kick.
