Helias girls fall to Quincy in soccer

No payoff in overtime

Extra time hasn’t been extra special for the Helias Lady Crusaders.

Saturday afternoon, the Lady Crusaders went to overtime for the fifth time in 10 games.

“That’s a lot,” Helias coach Chuck Register said.

But there haven’t been a lot of wins. The Lady Crusaders fell to 1-4 in extra time in dropping a 1-0 decision to the Quincy (Ill.) Blue Devils at the 179 Soccer Park.

“I don’t know what it is, I don’t know why we aren’t winning these games,” Register said.
