Fatima boys, girls capture crowns

In conference track championships

LINN, Mo. — The Fatima track and field teams swept the Show-Me Conference Championships on Tuesday.

The Comets roared into first with 236 team points, while Chamois finished second with 154.

Christian Brune of Fatima was a triple-winner.

The Comets won 13 of the 18 events.

On the girls side, the Lady Comets took first in 11 events to capture the team title with 228 points. Linn was second with 132.

Melanie Bower of Linn was a quadruple-winner.
