March of Dimes director stepping down

For eight years, Stephanie Johnson has worked tirelessly to support not just the mission of the March of Dimes but the families whose lives have been touched by the organization and its mission.

The division director for March of Dimes is not leaving the Jefferson City area, but is simply changing her focus to children older than those initially served by the March of Dimes.

Johnson, who has also worked for the United Way and Samaritan Center, has accepted the position of executive director with the Boys and Girls Club of Central Missouri, and will begin Tuesday, just two days after the March of Dimes’ biggest local fundraiser, March for Babies.

This is one IMPRESSIVE woman! I have worked with Stephanie all the years she has worked with the March of Dimes for the fundraiser, Signature Chefs. She will be dearly missed! Good Luck to you, Steph, in you new adventure. Boys & Girls Club is a very, very, fortunate organization to have you working for them!

Not only is she impressive but she is a very nice person as well. She will be a huge benefit to them and I I wish her all the best in her new job.
