Tuesday, April 12, 2011
Annexation was on the agenda for the Jefferson City Council, but it wasn't a proposal to expand the boundaries of the Capital City.
At Monday night’s council work session, members listened to a presentation from Joseph Lauber, of Lee’s Summit-based Lauber Municipal Law, LLC, about potential concerns with recent annexations in Taos and St. Martins.
One of the main concerns Lauber raised with that particular annexation was the amount of area that actually is contiguous with the previous Taos limits.
