Dear Editor:
Obama's answer to a citizen concerned about the high price of gas: "If you're complaining about the price of gas and your only getting eight miles a gallon, you know, you might want to think about a trade-in."
The AP reporter said that Obama's answer was said laughingly. Let me assume this citizen was the average Joe, wife, two kids, with a house payment, making average wages. His cost for everything his family uses has gone up (I believe cost are up between 8 to 15 percent on a average) and the president laughingly tells him to trade cars.
Obama has no idea nor does he care about the citizens of this country. If the man had been something other then an American the emperor might have taken him seriously. He can affect the cost of oil, almost overnight, by allowing the oil companies to start pumping oil out of the gulf again and open up our resources to drilling. Speculators wouldn't wager on the price rising. We have an estimated 2,500,000,00 gas burning cars in this nation, his answer is to trade them all in, or pay $5 a gallon.
Obama has never had to work hard to earn a living, he has been living off the taxpayers most of his life. Emperor Obama must go in 2012.
May God see us through the Obama era.
