A love story, a gullible lead character, stolen diamonds and some unexpected moments will make for a whimsical musical by students through the Jefferson City Home Educators.

“Drat! The Cat!” includes 31 on-stage teenagers as well as more than a dozen involved in behind-the-scenes work from set design to sound effects, including student director Gretel Miller.

Director Paula Schulte said, “The script is very clever and the music is a lot of fun.”
