Central Missouri finishes sweep of Lincoln

WARRENSBURG, Mo. — The Central Missouri Mules scored early and often while thumping the Lincoln Blue Tigers 12-2 on Sunday in a game shortened to eight innings due to the run rule.

Central Missouri pushed three across in the first, four in the third and one in the fourth for an 8-0 lead before Lincoln finally scored a run in the sixth.

The Blue Tigers will host Truman State in a conference doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
