Cole County Judge Paul Wilson recently sentenced a Jefferson City man to five years in prison for pleading guilty to an August 2009 charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Tony Love, 27, 313 Jackson, was taken into custody after authorities served a search warrant on Randall Drive where marijuana, weigh scales and baggies for distribution were seized.
In other recent court action, Judge Wilson sentenced a Jefferson City man to four years in prison for pleading guilty to August 2009 charges of driving while revoked, theft and nonsupport. Joshua Kelsey, 31, 1220 St. Mary’s Blvd., will have his sentence run concurrent to all other sentences against him.
Cole County Presiding Judge Pat Joyce recently placed a Jefferson City man on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to two counts of selling marijuana. Gary Gandy, 20, was charged in June 2009.
In other recent court action, Judge Joyce placed a Jefferson City woman on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to selling Xanax. Joyce Herny, 38, 410 Hess Way, was charged in September 2008.
Cole County Senior Judge Byron Kinder recently placed a Jefferson City woman on two years supervised probation for pleading guilty to felony stealing. Kendra Davis, 50, was charged in January.

He would have been better off if he stole a few hundred thousand dollars from an insurance co. Just pay it back (keeping any interest you made) and promise not to do it again.Rarely any jail time for that type of crime. Jack Deeken

Hey that's a white collar crime, no big deal right? Looks like he had the wrong judge too. Five years in prison for possession and "intent" to distribute? Wow. Others were getting five years probabtion for actually distributing. Judge Wilson must have really been having a bad day.
