YOUR OPINION: Awaiting a response
Thursday, October 28, 2010
Dear Editor:
I find it a bit troubling when you contact your congressman about is sues and never hear a response back. I am talking about Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer.
After several attempts by e-mail and only a response by one of his staff from a local office, it hard to believe that he does not have time to respond. About the only time is when they knock on your door and ask for your vote at election time.
Maybe he is not concerned about his voters and his re-election or he does not want or need his job as a congressman.
Issue-oriented letters to the editor in response to this or about other local topics are welcome. All letters should be limited to 400 words. The author's name must appear with the letter, and the name, address and phone number provided for verification. Letters that cannot be verified by telephone will not be published. Send letters for publication to editor@newstribune.com
