LU police investigating armed robbery

The Lincoln University Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday morning on campus.
According to LU Police Chief Bill Nelson, a male was walking on a trail behind Perry Hall and Tull Hall, located near Taylor Avenue and Chestnut Street, around 8:50 a.m.
The victim was approached by two males wearing ski masks. One of the men, who was brandishing a semiautomatic handgun, was described as 6-feet-tall and skinny, wearing a black shirt, black pants and white shoes. The second suspect was described as 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds, wearing a gray button-up shirt over a white T-shirt and black pants.
The suspects took the victim’s jewelry and possibly got away with items from the victim’s wallet.
