WARDSVILLE, Mo. — Montgomery County may be eliminated from the playoffs, but it doesn’t mean the Blair Oaks Falcons are going to take them lightly.
A win would put the Falcons into the playoffs for the 10th straight time. A loss would send them to the sideline.
“It’s not about them, it’s about us,” Blair Oaks coach Brad Drehle said as the Falcons prepare to host Montgomery County tonight in the Class 2 District 9 finale. “We’ve got to go out and play well. If we want to continued our streak of being in the playoffs, we have to win.
“If we don’t win, we’re done.”
