Doctor accused of inappropriate touching

MALDEN, Mo. (AP) - A southeast Missouri doctor is accused of inappropriately touching the breasts of two patients.

Dr. Martin McDonald, 52, Wappapello, is charged in Dunklin County with two felony counts of sexual abuse.

McDonald, a family practice physician at the Pehlman Family Clinic in Malden, is free on $25,000 bond.

McDonald was arrested Friday after declining to be interviewed by sheriff's investigators.

Court documents allege that the inappropriate sexual contact involving the two patients happened Aug. 24 and Sept. 3.

A woman who answered the telephone Tuesday at the Malden clinic said McDonald no longer works there. A message left at McDonald's home was not immediately returned.
