All-region, all-district softball honors announced

Two Jefferson City Lady Jays and three Helias Lady Crusaders have been named to the Class 4 All-Region softball team.
Erin Romph, a senior infielder, and junior outfielder Marsha Pendilton were the Lady Jays selected to the 15-player first team. Taylor Pritchett, a junior pitcher, was the Helias player named all-region first team. The team is comprised of schools from Districts 9-12. Two Lady Crusaders were selected to the second team — junior infielder Shelby LeCuru and freshman infielder Paige Bange.
Those five were also selected to the All-District 9 first team by the coaches. Three Lady Crusaders were named to the all-district second team — Haley Weaver, Arielle Chambers and Haley Bartow. Jefferson City placed four players on the second team — Riley Hayes, Jordan Moore, Madison Washington and Brailee Schulte.
Here are the all-district teams:
Camdenton: Jessica Colliver and Nikki Jefferies. Helias: Shelby LeCuru, Paige Bange and Taylor Pritchett. Hickman: Andrea Drake and Sydney Washington. Jefferson City: Erin Romph and Marsha Pendilton. Rock Bridge: Caroline Sicht, Kelsey Harrington, Lauren Fuller and Brianne Bond. Sedalia Smith-Cotton: Jessica Hardy.
Camdenton: Morgan Jones. Helias: Haley Weaver, Arielle Chambers and Haley Bartow. Hickman: Paige Nelson. Jefferson City: Riley Hayes, Jordan Moore, Madison Washington, Brailee Schulte. Rock Bridge: Nicole Jamison, Shelbie Atwell and Kali Hall-Barnes. Sedalia Smith-Cotton: Tiffany Wehmeyer.
Class 2 All-District 8
Several area players were named to the Class 2 District 8 Softball Team that was released recently.

Outfielders: Caley Kramer, Fatima; Regan Morrow, Eugene; Elizabeth Pritchett, Iberia; Raven Loughridge, Belle; Kayla Schulte, Eugene; Claire Fick, Fatima.
