The first step in preventing the seasonal flu is being vaccinated, and local students are getting that chance without ever leaving their schools.
The seasonal flu vaccine has been offered for free to children in Cole County, including all of the Jefferson City Public Schools. It is available under a grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
