Pardalos misses all-state honor by one stroke

Sophia Pardalos of Helias finished tied for 17th in the Class 2 girls golf championships that ended Tuesday.

The senior shot a total of 83-80--163 at Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield. That was one shot from tying for 15th and earning a state medal.

Mary Schepker of Helias finished tied for 44th with rounds of 89-91--180.
