Officials at Windstream Communications last week presented a $5,000 check to St. Elizabeth School as part of the company's Classroom Connections program Spirit Awards.
The $5,000 will be used towards updating classroom technology.
St. Elizabeth School was among the many schools to submit a video expressing the need for a technology update at their schools. Four schools won the top prize of $25,000 each, and 10 schools were the winners of $5,000 each.
