Years on governor's security gives Terry Ehrsam insight as first male docent


Terry Ehrsam talks about a few of the paintings in the Missouri Governor's Mansion. After more than two dozen years in the governor's security force, Ehrsam is now the first male docent at his former place of employment.

Terry Ehrsam spent 26 years working at the Governor's Mansion, and retired in 2006 as the lieutenant in charge of detail for the first families and mansion itself.

Upon his retirement, he was named an honorary docent, having spent years listening to the tales and stories as docents gave public and private tours, at the home he loved to serve in.
