Jays get past Huskies in PKs

Eddie Horn was sure his team was done. More than once. But the Jefferson City Jays had just enough left in the tank.

"We were gassed, we were dog-tired," Horn said after the Jays topped the Blue Valley (Kan.) Northwest Huskies in penalty kicks Saturday afternoon in the final game of the Art Firley Shootout at the 179 Soccer Park. Wrapping up a difficult six-game stretch, the Jays are ready for a break.
