Indictment in trash bin fire

The Cole County Grand Jury has indicted a Jefferson City man for setting a fire on the city's east side in August, sending the case to the circuit court for possible trial.

Christopher Henson, 37, of 1919 E. McCarty St., was charged with knowingly burning or exploding.

According to police department reports, officers were dispatched to a trash bin fire at the Break Time Convenience Store, 1907 E. McCarty St.
