Mid-Missouri hunters during the 2010-11 deer seasons will have an opportunity to help feed needy area residents by donating their deer to the Share the Harvest program.
The statewide program is administered by the Conservation Federation of Missouri and the Missouri Department of Conservation. A statewide goal has been set at 10,000 deer.
The Central Missouri Chapter of the Safari Club International of Fulton is sponsoring the Share the Harvest program in Central Missouri during the 2010-11 deer hunting seasons.
