New technology is helping Lewis and Clark Middle School students learn about an age-old profession - writing.

Students in their Reading and Language Arts classes created questions for published authors, who answered them during live, video conferences Thursday and Tuesday.

Participating authors were Monique Polak, New Jersey, and Tracey Baptiste, Canada.

Teacher Emily Edger said, "Since we write in many different forms throughout the year, these answers will help our students. We want students to talk to a fellow writer and get some feedback."
