Helias now No. 7 in soccer rankings

The Helias Crusaders moved up one spot in the latest rankings by the Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association.
Helias is No. 7 in Class 2, totaling 28 points in the second rankings of the season.
Two other local teams are receiving votes in their respective classes.
The Jefferson City Jays received three points in the Class 3 rankings. Two members of the Jays’ district are in the rankings — Rock Bridge at No. 13 and Hickman at No. 15.
The Southern Boone Eagles are just out of the Class 1 top 10 with 13 points.
The top-ranked teams in the state are Rockhurst in Class 3, St. Dominic in Class 2 and Pembroke Hill in Class 1.
