Prep Volleyball: Lady Jays JV win

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays improved to 21-0 Saturday by winning the title at the Waynesville Tournament.

The Lady Jays won their pool with wins over Sullivan (25-17, 25-16), Camdenton (25-18, 25-22) and St. James (25-9, 25-9). In bracket play, Jefferson City was a 25-20, 25-19 winner over Camdenton in the semifinals and won the tournament with a 25-15, 25-11 win over Waynesville.

Kaycee Vandelicht had 18 kills and 18 blocks for Jefferson City, while Alicia Woods recorded 15 kills, 19 blocks and 17 digs. Mallory York had 14 kills, 11 blocks and 29 digs. Kelsey Boeckman finished with 60 assists.

Jefferson City returns to action Tuesday at Kickapoo.
