NEW YORK (AP) - Sidney Crosby extended his point streak to 13 games and the Pittsburgh Penguins won their seventh straight by beating the New York Rangers 3-1 on Monday night.

The Penguins, 9-0-1 in their past 10, haven't lost since falling to the Rangers at home in overtime on Nov. 15. Their previous loss in regulation was Nov. 11 against Boston. It is the Penguins' longest winning streak since another seven-game run in October 2009.

Maxime Talbot scored in the first period, and goals by Kris Letang and Chris Conner in the second stretched Pittsburgh's lead to 3-0. Marc-Andre Fleury finished with 25 saves to earn his ninth win.

Crosby, the leader in votes for the NHL All-Star game, assisted on Letang's fifth of the season. He has 12 goals and 14 assists during his point streak and is the league's scoring leader with 41 points.

Marian Gaborik scored for the Rangers.

Stars 4, Hurricanes 1

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - James Neal scored twice and Kari Lehtonen made 27 saves to lift the surging Dallas Stars over Carolina.

Jamie Benn had a goal and an assist while Steve Ott had the other goal for the Stars, who have won four in a row. They've earned points in seven of their last eight games to move into first place in the Pacific Division.

It was Dallas' second win ever in Raleigh.

Eric Staal scored his third goal in his last four games and Cam Ward stopped 29 shots for Carolina, which was playing its fourth game in six nights.

Oilers 4, Senators 1

OTTAWA (AP) - Andrew Cogliano and Gilbert Brule each had a goal and an assist in the third period to lead Edmonton past Ottawa.

Martin Gerber made 22 saves to win for the second time in two starts for Edmonton. Tom Gilbert scored a power-play goal late in the second to draw the Oilers even at 1.

Cogliano deflected Brule's slap shot past Brian Elliott to give Edmonton a 2-1 lead 4:19 into the third. Brule tapped home Cogliano's centering pass at 12:48 to put the Oilers up 3-1. Dustin Penner assisted on both goals.

Taylor Hall scored into an empty net with 1:55 remaining.

Nick Foligno scored in the first for the Senators, who have lost six of eight.

Flames 3, Wild 0

CALGARY, Alberta (AP) - Miikka Kiprusoff made 32 saves and Jarome Iginla had a goal and an assist in Calgary's victory over Minnesota.

Calgary defenseman Jay Bouwmeester opened the scoring and Niklas Hagman added an insurance goal late in the third period for the Flames, who had lost four of five at home.

That was all the offense Kiprusoff needed in his 37th career shutout and third this season.

The Wild have lost four of five. They had won seven of the previous eight meetings, including three straight in Calgary.

Ducks 2, Kings 0

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Jonas Hiller made 27 saves in his seventh career shutout, rookie defenseman Cam Fowler scored and Anaheim beat the slumping Los Angeles Kings in the first meeting of the annual Freeway Faceoff.

Jason Blake scored with 2:24 left and Teemu Selanne had two assists for the Ducks, who have won two straight after a six-game skid. Hiller punctuated his first shutout of the season with a sparkling glove save on Anze Kopitar's point-blank chance in the final minutes.

Jonathan Quick stopped 17 shots for the Kings, who have lost seven of eight after a six-game winning streak.
