ST. LOUIS (AP) - An 8-year-old boy is hospitalized after he and his father were shot in St. Louis.
KSDK-TV reports that the shooting happened Monday evening. The 28-year-old father drove himself and his son to the St. Louis City Juvenile Detention Center seeking help.
Police say the father and son were sitting in a car when they were shot from an unknown assailant. The child was shot in the back and is hospitalized in serious but stable condition. The father was shot in the head but refused treatment.
