Eagles handle Hornets at Eugene Tournament

EUGENE, Mo. — The Eugene Eagles had five players in double figures in a 100-80 win over St. Elizabeth on Monday in the first round of the Eugene Invitational.
The Eagles will take on California at 8 p.m. Wednesday. St. Elizabeth plays Russellville at 5 p.m.
In other opening round action, the California Pintos raced out to a 37-11 halftime lead before handing Russellville a 54-22 loss.

Eldon opened the tournament with a 51-37 win over Versailles.
The Mustangs take on top-seeded Blair Oaks at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
