4 departments detail increased expenses for coming year

Earlier this month, Cole County Auditor Jim LePage presented a proposed county budget of $58.3 million.

Monday, the County Commission met with department heads to review what each is requesting for the upcoming year.

Most office holders were satisfied with the proposed budget, but some issues were raised.
