Show choir combines singing, dancing on its way to two firsts: showcase win, concert

JC Riot was virtually unknown among Jefferson City High School students and staff, until they attempted to remake themselves.

With new choreography, a live band to back them up and an energetic and determined composition, JC Riot took first place at the Webb City ShowChoir ShowCase last month.

JC Riot’s first local performance this season will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the Miller Performing Arts Center.
