Facebook foe pastor offers to resign over affair
Monday, November 22, 2010
NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — A New Jersey pastor who believes Facebook leads to infidelity has offered to step down over a past affair that involved a three-way sexual relationship with his wife and a male church assistant.
Pastor Cedric Miller spoke to his flock at Living Word Christian Fellowship Church in Neptune Township for about an hour on Sunday.
His sermon came days after the Asbury Park Press reported the 48-year-old testified in 2003 that he had a threesome with his wife and the male assistant 10 years ago.
Miller apologized for what he said was a foolish transgression from his past. He offered to step down as senior minister if church leaders found him unfit to serve.
The pastor is calling on church leaders to delete their Facebook accounts, claiming the social network site could lead to infidelity.

Facebook had nothing to do with what happened. The Pastor and his sex mates got their freak on and it was all due to adults consenting to have sexual relations. Blaming Facebook for this is nothing more than the Pastor being upset that somebody found out or participated in at least one of those encounters, posted the information on the net.
Perhaps Mr. Miller should be more concerned about asking the almighty for forgiveness and less time being concerned about what is on his Facebook account. He can delete stuff being posted on the website, he cannot delete his sexual conduct in the eyes of God.
