Sell the golf course to a private operator or to a real estate developer and use the proceeds to fix some of the roads around here.

maybe the golf course land would be a good place to build one of the new high schools this town needs. The other new high school could be built where the mall is now.

Knock down the existing high school and build a bunch more section 8 apartments.

So I take it you don't play golf huh JClifer. I'd say the golf course brings in some revenue to the city that normally would not be seen.
