Lou Willis invited Mary Roling to supper. “I was thrilled she called me,” Roling said.

While First Baptist Church served up the meal, Willis served up the conversation Thursday at the church’s once-a-month free, community meal.

Willis has charged herself with inviting no less than 15 people each month to the third-Thursday meal.
