Children’s choir celebrating 10th anniversary

‘Their voices are like angels’

When 11-year-old Michaela Martin joined the Capital City Children’s Choir two years ago, she had never sung in a choir with other children.

At 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Miller Performing Arts Center, Martin and her fellow sixth-graders will open their last season with the children’s choir.

The Capital City Children’s Choir will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Miller Performing Arts Center, 501 Madison St. in Jefferson City. In celebration of the group’s 10th anniversary, a reception will follow in the atrium.
