Blue Tiger women have trouble scoring early against Prairie Stars

Defense may win championships, but if there’s no “O,” there’s no go.

The Lincoln women’s basketball team suffered through a gruesome offensive game Saturday, making just 4-of-31 shots (13 percent) in the opening half of a 62-44 loss to Illinois-Springfield at Jason Gym.

The Blue Tigers held the Prairie Stars to just 35 percent shooting for the game, but Lincoln managed just 25 percent.
