My son is not guilty, father tells students
Ferguson convicted in 2001 death of Columbia sports editor
Thursday, November 18, 2010
More than six years after his son, Ryan Ferguson, was arrested for the slaying of Columbia Tribune Sports Editor Kent Heitholt, Bill Ferguson continues to believe his son is innocent and fights to prove it.
Ferguson gave a presentation Tuesday evening in the library auditorium of William Woods University in Fulton, outlining the case against his son and flaws that he perceives in the case and the justice system.

Perhaps if Ferguson's parents had taught him the difference between right and wrong, he wouldnt be in this situation.
Ryan was in a bar when he was underaged, using a fake ID, and then decided to steal money when he ran out of drinking cash.
Not exactly a shining example of morals.
Mr. Heitholt is the victim here, not Ryan. I pray for Heitholt's family, not the Fergusons.
