A Holts Summit man was listed in critical condition after being injured in a one-car accident Thursday morning in Cole County.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, the accident occurred at 6 a.m. on Missouri 179, north of North Rock Creek Road.
A 1995 Nissan, driven northbound by Kyle S. Denich, 23, traveled off the right side of the road, struck a highway sign and a large tree, partially ejecting Denich.
He was flown to University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital.
Denich was not wearing a seat belt.
